Restylane Eyelight and Restylane-L are the most-used products for tear troughs because they're firmer and less hydrophilic, integrating well into thin under-eye skin without causing puffiness. Tear trough is a specialized area — over-correction or wrong product placement causes 'malar mounds' or worsening dark circles. At Solas, Celeste assesses your specific anatomy first — sometimes the right answer is NOT filler.

Not with a conservative-first approach. Duck lips come from going too big too fast. At Solas we typically start with 1 syringe (sometimes a half-syringe for petite lips) — enough to see real definition and volume but easy to add more if you want. We'd rather have you come back than over-fill on visit one. If you don't love the result, HA fillers dissolve with hyaluronidase.

Botox relaxes muscles that create dynamic lines. Filler adds volume to restore structure or contour. "Lines when I move my face" = Botox. "Volume loss / hollows / wanting more definition" = filler. Most patients past 35 benefit from both — Botox first, then filler is the usual order. We'll map the plan at consultation.

Results are immediate but the final look takes about 2 weeks to fully settle. First 24–48 hours often have mild swelling that can make the area look bigger than the final result — especially lips. By day 7 most swelling is gone. By week 2 the filler has fully integrated. If anything looks off at week 2, that's the touch-up or dissolve window.
