It depends on the area and your muscle strength. As a general guide, the forehead takes about 10–20 units, frown lines (the "11s") about 20 units, and crow's feet about 12–24 units. A lip flip needs only 4–6 units. Celeste maps your dose to your anatomy at your consultation, so you only pay for what you need.

Most patients describe the injections as a quick pinch. We use fine-gauge needles and can apply a topical numbing cream if needed. Treatment is typically very well tolerated and completed in under 30 minutes.

Unlike Botox, it uses a novel peptide instead of human albumin, and it lasts significantly longer — typically 6 months, sometimes up to 9. It's ideal for patients who want fewer clinic visits. Both products relax the same muscles and produce natural-looking results.

Botox typically lasts 3–4 months. Daxxify typically lasts 6 months, with some patients maintaining results for up to 9 months. Yes. Masseter Botox is FDA-recognized for jaw clenching, bruxism (teeth grinding), tension headaches, and jawline slimming. Men typically need higher units than women because of stronger muscle mass and stronger expressive habits — usually 30–40 units for the forehead, 25–30 for frown lines, and 20–25 for crow's feet. The goal for most men is 'look less stressed and tired' rather than 'look younger,' but the anatomy and technique are the same.

Honest answer: there's no antidote that reverses Botox once injected. If the result is too strong, it wears off naturally over 3–4 months — for Botox or about 6 months for Daxxify. If the result is uneven or asymmetric, that's almost always fixable at the 2-week touch-up window. The best way to avoid that scenario is conservative dosing on your first visit — we go lighter than you'd think on session one and add at the 2-week mark if you want more.

Cosmetic Botox is not covered by insurance — Solas is a self-pay clinic.
